The tennis courts at Wimbledon Park offer a range of tennis courts and surfaces that are suitable for play. The centre has 20 tennis courts with 10 floodlit astroturf tennis courts (artificial grass) and 10 tarmac or hard courts. The tennis centre is operated by a company called IDVerde who are responsible for the maintenance of the tennis courts on a year round basis. IDVerde also manage the tennis centre and are responsible for taking payments for tennis courts throughout the year.
If you are looking to book a tennis court for your game, please read through this procedure as its not always easy to get a booking in place! The management team at Wimbledon Park are often working on the grounds outside of the tennis courts. If you are looking to make a booking, Wimbledon Park tennis courts operate a PAY & PLAY basis meaning you can either book in advance or turn up and see if there is a court free.
All courts must be paid for ONLINE before the start of your game so it’s a good idea to try and get to the tennis centre 15 minutes before you are due to play. If you are early, you can always do a few warm ups to get things started!
The tennis hut is located adjacent to the large café in the far corner of the tennis centre. It is best accessed via the home park road entrance to the park (see here for directions). Please bear in mind that the tennis hut ONLY takes CASH for its payments. Many a player has been turned down without the means to pay by cash (the nearest cash point is around 10 minute walk)
Please remember you need to create a membership first before making any booking via Clubspark to access the courts at Wimbledon Park
